Muktinath Yatra from Raxaul
The Raxaul-Birgunj border is the primary entry point for Muktinath pilgrims from Bihar, Jharkhand, and eastern India. Just 230 km from Patna, this crossing connects you to Nepal's heartland via the historic Tribhuvan Highway and the scenic Chitwan region.
This 6-day package takes you through some of Nepal's most beautiful landscapes -from the Terai plains to the Mahabharat range, along the Trishuli River to Pokhara, and through the world's deepest gorge to Muktinath. Every segment is a visual feast.
At Muktinath Temple (3,710m), you'll experience the full spiritual journey -the 108 Mukti Dhara water spouts, the eternal flames at Jwala Mai, and darshan at the ancient Vishnu temple. Our Hindi-speaking guide explains every ritual and significance.
The extra day compared to the Sonauli route gives you a comfortable pace with a Chitwan stopover, making this ideal for families and elderly pilgrims who prefer not to rush.
